, 2026-27 School Year – Twin Cities International Schools, Minneapolis (North Loop).
Twin Cities International Schools is currently accepting applications for a 4th Grade teaching position for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. Position start date is August 16 2026. Applicants must possess a valid Minnesota teaching license prior to the start date. We are a public charter school located in the North Loop of Minneapolis with a student enrollment of approximately 1,000 students (K-8).
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with your assigned grade-level team.
- Engage students in learning through best-practice strategies, establishing high expectations for students.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
- Plan, organize, and deliver lessons consistent with MN state standards and curriculum.
- Integrate technology into daily lesson plans.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Experience with standards-based instruction, English-Language Learners, and common assessments is a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid Minnesota teaching license prior to the start date.
Salary is determined by experience and education, with the upcoming 2026-27 school year licensed employee salaries ranging from $47,568.18 to $85,922.88. Current Minnesota licensed Tier 3 or 4 teacher salary starts at $51,828.55. Additional salary amounts are available for completed Master's, Master's + 60 credits, Ed.D. or Ph.D.
Additional benefits are also available for full-time employees, including medical and dental benefits (optional) and include coverage of employee, employee + 1 or family. Employees are responsible for a monthly insurance premium, depending on plan and coverage selected. Life Insurance/AD&D, along with short-term and long-term disability coverage, is provided by TCIS. Flex spending accounts for medical or dependent care are also available, but optional.
TCIS requires enrollment in TRA (Teacher's Retirement Association) retirement plan for all licensed employees.
