In this rewarding contract opportunity, youll impact the lives of young learners by supporting preschool-aged children with diverse needs as an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher. This position focuses on ages 3-5 in a center-based program dedicated to nurturing cognitive, social, emotional, communicative, and physical growth through engaging, play-based activities. Youll become a cornerstone for playful and developmentally appropriate intervention helping set the stage for each childs future learning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to support each child's unique abilities
- Conduct student assessments and classroom observations to guide eligibility decisions, instructional planning, and goal setting
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with families, general education teachers, and related service providers
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to paraprofessionals in the classroom
- Integrate intensive support into everyday routines, embedding interventions within play for small class sizes
- Utilize positive behavior supports and social-emotional learning strategies to foster a nurturing and engaging classroom environment
- Valid Early Childhood Special Education licensure
- Experience working with preschool-aged children, ideally in a center-based or early intervention setting
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in adapting instruction for diverse learning needs and promoting inclusive participation
- Knowledge of play-based and developmentally appropriate approaches for young children
This position runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with separate morning and afternoon class sessions. Youll be working in a supportive and cooperative school environment, with access to resources and collaboration from a dynamic team of professionals.

- Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $39.00.
