Hiawatha Collegiate High School (HCHS) seeks a hard-working, passionate, and goal-oriented educator to join our team as a Physical Education (PE)/Health Teacher for the  school year.

Teachers will be charged with providing a rigorous, fast-paced, and inspiring learning environment for all of their students. The PE Teacher will work under the guidance of the Instructional Leadership Team and in close collaboration with fellow classroom teachers and advisors.

Hiawatha Academies is a network of college-preparatory schools focused on closing the opportunity gap in Minneapolis. Professional Development is scheduled into the calendar year and provides a time for all campuses to come together and celebrate our success.

• Hiawatha Collegiate High School students' school day is from 8:45 a.m.
  
  - 3:45 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:45 a.m.
  
  - 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Staff hours are 8:15 a.m.
  
  - 4:15 p.m. Monday-Friday.
• Professional development sessions are held each Friday from 2:15 p.m.
  
  - 4:15 p.m.
• All Hiawatha staff are expected to attend and participate in relevant evening family events to be held at the school.

Starting Pay Range: $45,577-$82,065
