- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 12 months (year-to-year with high likelihood of extension; potential path to FTE conversion)
- Pay Rate: $27.00 $ 29.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week); optional overtime (not mandatory)
- Travel Requirements: ~30% travel to field sites; mileage reimbursement once fully trained

This role is a Project Manager Electrical Distribution (Designer/PM hybrid) supporting customer-driven distribution work. The contractor is responsible for managing assigned territory projects from intake through completion, with key deliverables spanning distribution design, project lifecycle management, cross-functional coordination, and support for new service applications for residential and commercial customers. The work split is approximately 70% office / 30% field.
Key Responsibilities- Design distribution work (GIS-based)
- Manage project lifecycle from intake through completion
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and construction)
- Support new service applications for residential and commercial customers
- Manage projects within assigned territory on a day-to-day basis
- Interact with customers (internal and external)
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and construction teams
- Perform distribution design work and update GIS systems
- Conduct site visits and field inspections
- Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams while owning individual projects
- Electrical distribution design experience
- Project management exposure

- Construction or utility background

- Associate degree required
- Entry-level (0 3 years of experience) in Electrical, GIS, Mapping, Project Management, or Construction
- Hybrid office/field role (~30% field exposure)
- Site visits include inspecting equipment and meeting customers
- PPE provided: hard hat, vest, gloves, and goggles
- Steel-toe boots required but not provided (contractor responsibility)
- Non-local candidates accepted if willing to relocate at own expense for the life of the assignment
