We anticipate the need for one or more Trouble man to be located at the Chestnut Service Center in Minneapolis, MN. The starting pay for this position is $61.86.

You will be responsible for all duties of the Trouble man classification which involves the first response for overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. The person filling this position must be self-motivated, work well with others and possess a positive attitude, and be committed to working safely, providing quality customer service, creating customer satisfaction, and working productively.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must presently hold a Journeyman Lineman Certificate and have a working knowledge of all phases of distribution, construction, maintenance, and operating.
• Must meet driver qualifications as specified and possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Driver's license.
• Requires participation in after-hours emergency callouts.
• Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Trouble man and/or first responder experience is desired.
• Demonstrate commitment to working productively and safely.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely.
