Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging

Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN

We’re hiring a Field Service Engineer to support diagnostic imaging systems for a global medical technology leader and its exclusive regional partner. This is a field-based role covering the Twin Cities and surrounding areas (~4hr radius).

What You’ll Do

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain medical imaging equipment
• Modalities include X-ray, Ultrasound, CR, DR, and Mammography
• Perform PMs, calibrations, QC testing, and documentation
• Partner with service leadership, sales, and fellow engineers
• Travel primarily within a 4-hour radius of Minneapolis/St. Paul (limited backup travel)

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year experience servicing medical or technical equipment
• Medical imaging field service experience strongly preferred
• Degree in electronics, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of imaging systems, digital technology, and radiation safety
• Self-directed, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally

Tools & Skills

• Electronics troubleshooting and networked systems
• Experience with test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes, radiation meters, safety analyzers)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
