Project Manager Packaging Technology Background

Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong understanding or prior experience in Packaging Technology to lead projects focused on cost savings, sustenance, and Value Engineering / Value Analysis (VE/VA). This role combines technical packaging knowledge with exceptional project management skills to deliver impactful results across multiple product lines.

• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end packaging projects aimed at cost optimization and sustainability.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, operations, and suppliers.
• Packaging Expertise: Apply knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and technologies to drive innovative solutions.
• Support packaging sustenance initiatives and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Cost Savings & Value Engineering: Identify and implement packaging cost reduction opportunities.
• Lead VE/VA workshops and ensure actionable outcomes.
• Track and report savings achieved through packaging initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project status, risks, and results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with global teams and suppliers to align packaging strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 810 years of experience in packaging technology and project management.
• Proven track record in cost savings projects and VE/VA implementation.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
