This role is open due to a planned replacement and joins a seasoned field service team supporting customers across the Upper Midwest. The territory includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, with a strong concentration in meat and grain applications.

What You’ll Do- Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair analytical instruments used throughout the food industry.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on systems supporting meat, grain, and related applications.
- Support customers both in person and remotely via phone or online tools.
- Serve as a technical resource for customers, ensuring instruments operate accurately and reliably.
- Manage service documentation, follow procedures, and maintain clear communication with internal teams.
- Represent the company professionally while working independently across a multi-state territory.
- Build trust with customers through responsiveness, technical competence, and consistent follow-through.
You’re comfortable working on the road and enjoy being the person customers rely on when equipment matters most. You’re technically grounded, self-directed, and able to balance independence with accountability.
You bring a service mindset to every interaction—clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. Whether your background comes from the military, formal education, or hands-on field experience, you’re confident working with complex instruments and adapting to new environments quickly.
Preferred Experience & Attributes- Background in electronics or physics through education, military service, or professional experience.
- Prior field service experience supporting instruments or technical equipment.
- Ability to pass required background, driving, financial, and criminal checks.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 90% of the time within the assigned territory.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working directly with customers.
- Organized, dependable, and capable of managing a dynamic travel schedule.
