Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an experienced civil engineer to join our collaborative and innovative aviation team in Bloomington, MN. While this candidate will primarily support our Aviation Midwest group, they will also take on a variety of projects across both our airport and transportation groups.

These assignments will include a hybrid of both design and field work on runways, taxiways, aprons, highways, roads, and other related civil engineering projects as needed.

• Designing and leading aviation and transportation engineering projects
• Evaluating and analyzing existing projects
• Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits
• Performing QA/QC tasks including leading design reviews
• Serving as the onsite project engineer on construction projects as needed
• Other tasks as assigned.

A valid driver s license and frequent travel will be required.

• Bachelor s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience
• PE License in the state of MN or ability to obtain

• Previous experience on airport and/or MNDOT Transportation projects is preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Heavy civil construction experience

Salary Range: $91,000 to $113,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
