Sr. Test Engineer – Electrical​/Hardware

Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer – Electrical/Hardware to design, develop, and implement hardware and software test systems for hearing aids and accessories. This role focuses on component, subassembly, and device-level testing, with an emphasis on improving efficiency, automation, and defect detection in the production environment.

• Lead test system design and implementation across the product lifecycle.
• Design and develop PCBA test interfaces and automated test frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for production, yield, and field-return issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on FMEA, data analysis, and test strategy optimization.
• Develop and maintain automated test software using C#, C, LabVIEW, Test Stand, and SQL.
• Maintain organized documentation, revision control, and adhere to quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering or hardware design for PCBA test systems.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics).
• Strong understanding of electrical interfaces, signal integrity, analog/mixed signals, and test instrumentation.
• Experience with microcontrollers, DSP, SoC design, and sensors (MEMS, optical, temperature, gyro).
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW/Test Stand and automated test systems.
