We are looking for a Suspension Engineer to join an exciting vehicle development program with one of our client a global leader in powersports and off-road vehicles. If you’re passionate about vehicle dynamics, suspension kinematics, and chassis design
, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge products.
- Design and develop front and rear suspension layouts using Siemens NX
- Build and analyze kinematic models to evaluate:
- Suspension travel
- Roll center
- Other ride & handling performance metrics
- Work within large mechanical assemblies
, ensuring proper integration of suspension systems with chassis and body - Support development of a standardized suspension design process
, including CAD workflows, documentation, and guidelines - Collaborate closely with vehicle dynamics, testing, and product engineering teams to meet ride, handling, and durability targets
- Generate 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical reports
- Experience in suspension or chassis design within automotive, powersports, or off-highway vehicles
- Strong understanding of suspension kinematics and vehicle dynamics principles
- Hands-on experience with Siemens NX
- Experience working with large assemblies and system integration
- Ability to create engineering drawings and release documentation
- Experience with vehicle testing or ride & handling development
- Familiarity with kinematic simulation tools (ADAMS, Car Sim, etc.)
- Background in ATV, UTV, motorcycle, or off-road vehicle development
