Suspension Design Engineer

We are looking for a Suspension Engineer to join an exciting vehicle development program with one of our client a global leader in powersports and off-road vehicles. If you’re passionate about vehicle dynamics, suspension kinematics, and chassis design

• Design and develop front and rear suspension layouts using Siemens NX
• Build and analyze kinematic models to evaluate:
• Suspension travel
• Roll center
• Other ride & handling performance metrics
• Work within large mechanical assemblies
  , ensuring proper integration of suspension systems with chassis and body
• Support development of a standardized suspension design process
  , including CAD workflows, documentation, and guidelines
• Collaborate closely with vehicle dynamics, testing, and product engineering teams to meet ride, handling, and durability targets
• Generate 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical reports

• Experience in suspension or chassis design within automotive, powersports, or off-highway vehicles
• Strong understanding of suspension kinematics and vehicle dynamics principles
• Hands-on experience with Siemens NX
• Experience working with large assemblies and system integration
• Ability to create engineering drawings and release documentation

• Experience with vehicle testing or ride & handling development
• Familiarity with kinematic simulation tools (ADAMS, Car Sim, etc.)
• Background in ATV, UTV, motorcycle, or off-road vehicle development
