Senior Engineering Technician

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization in the Greater Minneapolis area, is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Operations by working on complex, high-end test systems. This role requires hands‑on troubleshooting, independent problem‑solving, and close collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Support the development, testing, and implementation of new test equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate test benches, prototype equipment, and production test systems.
• Execute verification, validation, and reliability testing; analyze results and recommend improvements.
• Document test results, procedures, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing instructions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, purchasing, vendors, and operations teams.
• Provide on‑site and occasional field support, including limited travel.

• Electronic Technology certificate or 2‑year AAS degree.
• Experience as an Engineering or Production Technician.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills using electronic test equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar databases.
• Knowledge of computers, networks, and electronic components.
• Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, DVMs, and related test equipment.
