Advance Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager with die casting experience to lead the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes at our client company in Fridley, MN. This is a Direct Hire role for a collaborative leader who drives engineering initiatives and promotes safe, efficient, and scalable manufacturing processes across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of process engineers, supporting both technical performance and professional development.
- Analyze production data and workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-effective process improvements.
- Oversee internal improvement initiatives, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D and Production) to streamline operations and support new product launches.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards, including conducting risk assessments.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to cost, quality, and output.
- Troubleshoot complex production, equipment, and tooling issues and develop innovative, practical solutions.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making to optimize process systems and operational performance.

Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in process or manufacturing engineering
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with high-pressure die casting (setting up, operating, and developing processes for die cast machines, such as, Buhler, Prince, and Weingarten equipment)
- 3–5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain
