Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of recent or upcoming College Graduate Engineers based at our Faribault, MN office.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Engineering Development
, the College Graduate – Engineering Rotational Program participant will complete a structured two‑year rotation designed to build technical depth, business acumen, and leadership capability. Participants will gain hands‑on experience across multiple engineering and customer‑facing disciplines, work on high‑impact projects, and develop a strong foundation for long‑term career growth at Trystar.

In this role you will get to:
- Participate in a two‑year rotational program consisting of four six‑month assignments across core Trystar engineering and business functions.
- Rotate through a selection of disciplines including:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Quality
- Strategic Marketing
- Applications Engineering
- Customer Experience
- Complete hands‑on projects with measurable business impact during each rotation.
- Receive structured onboarding and role‑specific training at the start of each rotation.
- Participate in quarterly development sessions focused on communication, problem‑solving, project management, and customer‑centric innovation.
- Work with a dedicated mentor throughout the full two‑year program.
- Learn and use the ability to understand cost, margin, lead time, and customer impact when making engineering decisions
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to functional and executive leadership.
- Build cross‑functional relationships through cohort‑based learning, networking events, and collaborative assignments.
- Engage in community and volunteer activities to broaden organizational awareness and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated interest in engineering, product development, operations, or customer‑focused technical work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional environments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
- Willingness to rotate across various functions and embrace new learning opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through academics, internships, projects, clubs, or work experience.
- Internship or co‑op experience in engineering, manufacturing, customer service or technical environments.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, OrCAD, Altium, and others.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience presenting technical work to stakeholders.
