  • Primary Responsibilities
    • Work collaboratively with engineering staff to solve practical geomechanics problems with a focus on open pit mining.
    • Perform numerical modeling, analyze results, and communicate findings to clients.
    • Contribute to the continuous development of consulting business from existing and new clients.
    • Prepare proposals and execute project work, with the majority of time dedicated to billable work.
    • Mentor team members.
    • Independently manage and complete projects on time and within budget.
    • Travel as required to visit client sites and attend conferences (up to 20%).
    Minimum Requirements
    • Master’s degree in Geotechnical, Geomechanics, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geophysics, or a related field.
    • Proficiency with numerical modeling, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
    • Eight (8) years of relevant post‑graduate experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Mining Engineer, Civil Engineer, Rock Mechanics Engineer, Geomechanics Engineer, or related role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Field experience and familiarity with advanced geomechanics software preferred.
    • Employment‑based visa sponsorship may be available, subject to business needs, candidate qualifications, and immigration regulations.

    Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $ per year
