. This role is responsible for engineering design and modification activities related to electrical & electronic circuits, systems, and equipment in the built environment.

Lead the electrical design and coordination of complex building projects across sectors such as commercial, civic, education, and healthcare. You’ll be responsible for developing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems from concept through construction, ensuring integration with architectural and other engineering disciplines. This role includes client-facing responsibilities, mentoring junior staff, performing quality control, and collaborating closely with construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained through build-out.

Receives direction on unusual conditions and developments.

This position will involve working with a multidisciplinary team who work together to conceive, permit, design and provide construction administration support for small and large projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Performs Construction Administration services, including review of shop drawings, RFI’s and review of contractor proposed change orders

Evaluates feasibility of alternative design approaches in conjunction with senior team members

Performs site/ field visits to ascertain existing conditions including equipment condition evaluations
