Project Systems Support EngineerMortenson’s Integrated Services Team seeks a Project Management Controls Engineer to coordinate, assist, train, and continuously improve our project control processes.
Responsibilities- Investigate and develop enhancement ideas to continuously improve tools and processes
- Provide support and training via ad hoc consultations, webinars, written documentation, and on-demand video education
- Assist with evaluation, prioritization, selection, testing, piloting, and implementation of Lean innovations
- Monitor and evaluate software utilization to optimize efficiency
- Challenge status quo to improve operational systems for operational excellence
- Recommend new technology and processes to improve team performance and efficiency
- Train new initiatives in implementation and experimentation stages
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members
- Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and levels
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or equivalent field preferred
- Preferred 2 years’ experience within the construction technology industry
- Experience executing construction Project Management Control Processes
- Experience in construction industry technology platforms such as Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam and system administration
- Understanding of project financial management, contract management, submittal management, contract drawing management, project documentation management, BIM, construction jobsite technology management
- Familiar with Lean principles and techniques
- Proficient in analysis, prioritization, and implementation of project solution initiatives
- Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a cross‑functional, collaborative, team‑based environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation experience a plus

Base pay range: $71,400 – $107,100. Actual range higher for Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Washington, DC. Eligible for Mortenson incentive plan.
