International PFASs Forensics Subject Matter Expert
Job DescriptionCDM Smith is seeking a dynamic technical leader to oversee and expand our services around PFASs forensics. The role involves leading business development opportunities, collaborating with local and national project managers, technical experts, research and development teams, and marketing professionals to deliver high‑quality PFASs forensic services to clients in aviation, industrial, municipal, and federal markets.
Responsibilities- Lead business development and client engagement in PFASs forensics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
- Maintain expertise in PFAS chemistry, analytical methods, and high‑resolution mass spectrometry.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
- 15 years of related experience or equivalently advanced experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally as required.
- PhD in PFASs Application Forensics or related field.
- Active membership in a relevant professional organization.
- Professional license or certification (e.g., P.E., LEED AP, Env SP, ACIP).
- Strong relationships with aviation, industrial, municipal, and federal clients.
- Knowledge of transition from PFAS‑containing firefighting foams in mobile or fixed equipment.
Travel may be required at a frequency dependent on duties and project demands.
