Hardware Engineer II

As a Hardware Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and test hardware components and systems that meet rigorous performance and reliability standards. You will contribute to the creation of innovative hardware solutions that support Honeywell’s product portfolio and drive technological advancements.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an hybrid work schedule. Hybrid Work Schedule

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge hardware products by applying your engineering expertise to ensure design integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. Your work will support the successful delivery of high-quality hardware solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

• Design, develop, and validate hardware components and systems to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and production readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware design issues throughout the development lifecycle to improve product performance and reliability.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 2 or more years of experience in hardware design and development, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware validation.
• 2 or more years of knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and hardware testing methodologies.

WE VALUE

• Proficiency with hardware design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar EDA software, and experience with simulation tools and test equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to hardware development.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience in embedded systems hardware design and development
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power management, and thermal analysis
• Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

The annual base salary range for this position is $93,600.00 - $. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
