Sr. Analog Design Engineer
Design, develop and verify Micron’s next generation analog and mixed signal integrated circuits as a part of the semiconductor chips used in the volatile and non-volatile memory interface products. Drive the layout of complex circuits through mask designers, to operate at high speeds and performance, in deep sub‑micron ASIC technologies. Plan and participate in silicon bring up and characterization. Perform correlation between silicon and simulations, investigating discrepancies to provide root‑cause analysis and proposed design fixes to silicon issues.
Present complex engineering ideas both to the design team and internal customers to explain design choices and provide insight into design tradeoffs. Provide feedback on the feasibility, or trade‑offs, of different circuit topologies in architecture development.
Position requires:
- AMS design, Advanced CMOS, and Fin Fet technologies
- Circuit design with analog/mixed signal CMOS circuits
- High‑speed memory interfaces, including DDR3/4/5, LPDDR3/4x/5, GDDR5/6, ONFi, PCIe, M‑PHY, HDMI, USB, or SATA
- Independent ownership of sub‑blocks: PLL, DLL, CDR, high‑speed receiver, equalization, transmitter front end, high‑speed data path, or high‑speed clocking path
- Analog and mixed signal circuits
- Architecture trade‑offs in high‑speed Ser Des and PHY
The US base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is $ - $201,000.
Relocation Level: TBD
