As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing advanced aerospace systems that drive innovation and enhance safety and efficiency in the aerospace industry.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and integration of cutting‑edge aerospace technologies that improve the performance and reliability of aerospace systems, contributing to Honeywell’s leadership in the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace systems, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware, software, and network components into cohesive aerospace solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, testing, and optimizing aerospace systems to meet performance and safety criteria.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on aerospace technologies.

  • Strong expertise in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting within aerospace and vacuum system environments.

  • Proficiency in aerospace system design tools and simulation software, with a solid understanding of hardware‑software integration and networked systems.

  • Experience with aerospace industry standards and compliance requirements.
