Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer specializing in Automation to support internal equipment, which will be installed and commissioned at various sites. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering, particularly with custom automated equipment.

Responsibilities

* Support and troubleshoot internal equipment regularly on the floor.

* Program PLCs using Siemens or Rockwell Automation.

* Develop HMI/SCADA with WinCC or Ignition.

* Engage in Robotics programming, specifically with Fanuc.

* Design and interpret AutoCAD Electrical schematics.

* Work with controls hardware such as sensors, remote IO, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode readers.

* Employ industrial networking protocols like Profinet and Ether

CAT.

* Travel up to 25% for equipment installation and commissioning at various locations.

Essential Skills

* 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering for custom automated equipment.

* Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens primary, Rockwell Automation secondary).

* Experience with Robotics programming (Fanuc).

* Familiarity with HMI/SCADA development (WinCC primary, Ignition secondary).

* Knowledge of controls hardware and industrial networking protocols.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls and Computer Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

* Experience with AutoCAD Electrical schematic design is a plus.

* Willingness to travel up to 25% for installation and commissioning. #mneng

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
