The Quality Manager will lead the development and execution of quality systems for the Water Technologies & Services (WTS) Division, based in Ramsey, Minnesota. This role focuses on driving operational value through strong supplier quality management, effective inspection processes, and practical quality systems that support both manufacturing and field service operations.

Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Service, Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate Quality, the Quality Manager will strengthen supplier performance to improve consistency, reduce risk, and protect gross margins, while building the foundation for ISO 9001 certification and long-term quality system maturity as the WTS division grows.

  • Flexible working hours & hybrid working.
The Day-to-Day
  • Lead the development and execution of supplier quality systems and monitor supplier performance to drive improvements in quality, reliability, and delivery;
  • Partner with engineering, sourcing, and operations to reduce supplier-related issues impacting cost and margin and establish clear supplier quality expectations and accountability;
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to integrate quality across the full product and service lifecycle;
  • Develop and improve inspection systems at both the product and manufacturing process levels and support quality standards for field service activities;
  • Strengthen non-conformance reporting (NCR) and corrective action processes by leading root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions;
  • Identify quality system risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to improve consistency and performance;
  • Build and maintain scalable quality systems aligned with divisional needs while collaborating with Corporate Quality to ensure alignment with global standards and best practices;
  • Lead the division’s preparation toward ISO 9001 certification after establishing strong foundational quality systems;
  • Document, standardize, and improve processes that create measurable operational value and support growth across multiple sites.
The Skills We Are Looking For

  • Engineering degree preferred; equivalent technical education or experience with demonstrated technical aptitude will be considered;
  • Hands-on leader who works directly with teams and processes;
  • Practical and results-oriented with strong systems-thinking capability;
  • Comfortable operating in cross-functional environments;
  • Focused on value creation and operational improvement, not compliance alone;
  • Strong communicator capable of influencing across the division;
  • Valid passport required with the ability to travel locally and to Canada as needed.
