- Provide oversight for development, engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout processes for small to mid-scale CORE Electrical projects.
- Ensure project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, risk, and cost) and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Translate organizational objectives into departmental activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical and business advice on project document preparation and disposition.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Manage project change and risk, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee specification and requisitioning of materials and equipment.
- Monitor and control project activities within financial and schedule constraints.
- Provide front-end project development support to Development Engineering.
- Direct tender, analysis, award, and administration of engineering and construction contracts.
- Provide project field support during construction and commissioning activities.
- Implement consistent and timely management of project records and closeout procedures.
- Completion of a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Pipelines, Construction, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience, including at least 5 years of project experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Technical and working knowledge of internal and industry pipeline and facility design, construction codes, and standards.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with PMI considered an asset.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, planning, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, make timely decisions, manage change, and escalate accordingly.
- Valid Class 5 driving license with a safe driving record.
