Engineering Manager - Robotics

We are looking for an experienced, results‑orientated leader to head up our robotics software development. In this leadership role, you will:

• Lead architecture design and development for autonomous machine control platforms
• Build a world class engineering team to advance autonomous machine development
• Encourage learning and development of domain expertise in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and/or Computer Graphics to push simulation and autonomous operation

• Leadership: Lead multiple teams across different layers of the software stack. Provide development, mentoring, and coaching to cross‑functional teams and individuals.
• Technical Vision: Drive the overall technical vision and architecture, ensuring systems grow and scale quickly. Lead the creation of Long Range Plans (LRP) for a functional team.
• Process: Develop release plans and ensure they are delivered at a regular cadence. Ensure requirements, design documentation, and software are developed and validated in alignment with industry best practices.
• Business: Ensure planning, estimation, and tracking activities are carried out effectively, manage the operating budget for the team.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or other software related field
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong background and experience in applied Deep Learning
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams for multiple products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong experience in project management and different software process methodologies
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, robotics or related field preferred
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Experience with ROS, Gazebo, Unreal, and Omniverse

The salary range for this position is Minimum Pay: $ - Maximum Pay: $ depending on experience and other factors.
