Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Sr Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing next-generation industrial printing solutions to meet customers' marking and coding needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design an embedded system using the latest SOC application processor and FPGA.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the electrical design, development, testing, and deployment of the industrial printing system from conceptual design to full production.

* Develop product technical and design specifications.

* Lead the design and development of the electrical system of the print controller and printhead.

* Perform detailed circuit analysis, develop schematics, BOMs, and layouts to create Printed Circuit Board Assemblies, bring up, troubleshoot, and launch PCBA designs into production.

* Create and maintain electrical design documentation such as schematic diagrams and PCB layout documents.

* Identify applicable standards and provide an analysis of the design to these standards.

* Work with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Test Engineers, and Project Management to ensure a successful product lifecycle.

Essential Skills

* Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree.

* 6-8+ years of electrical engineering experience.

* Expertise with embedded systems, FPGA, power electronics, and system-level designs.

* Experience with PCB design, layout, and system-level electrical engineering.

* Proficiency with Altium.

* Automation experience, ideally from the industrial automation industry.

* Open to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
