Your Purpose in This Key RoleSteen Engineering is seeking an experienced Commissioning Agent to help ensure the systems we design and support perform exactly as intended—from initial startup through long-term operation. This role serves as a key technical partner to project teams, contractors, building owners, and design professionals, helping bridge the gap between design intent and real‑world building performance.
Our ideal candidate is a curious, proactive problem solver who enjoys digging into complex systems, collaborating with diverse project stakeholders, and delivering results that clients can see and feel. This individual will lead commissioning activities across a variety of project types, validating system performance, troubleshooting challenges, and helping ensure every project reflects the quality, responsiveness, and practical expertise that define The Steen Way.
Beyond technical execution, this role offers the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to the continued growth of Steen's commissioning practice. If you're someone who takes pride in making buildings work better—and enjoys partnering with others to solve tough challenges along the way—you'll find meaningful opportunities to grow and make an impact here.
We Make It WorkAt Steen Engineering, commissioning isn't a final checkbox at the end of a project. It's how we ensure systems perform as intended, buildings operate efficiently, and clients receive the quality they were promised.
