Facilities Engineer II

Location: Minneapolis, MN (4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)

Type: W2 Contract | Through April 2028.

Preferred location: Candidate located near the client facilities in Minnesota.

Preferred locations: Candidates located near other client sites, including Denver, North Haven, Tempe, Tijuana, and Puerto Rico, will also be considered.

Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 10% to support site engagement, deployment activities, and collaboration.

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer / Building Performance Engineer with strong HVAC and building systems expertise to support global facilities and smart building initiatives.

• Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD)
• Energy Efficiency & Smart Building Technologies
• Strong Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

• Analyze HVAC performance using FDD tools to identify faults and operational inefficiencies
• Develop optimization recommendations, including setpoint, scheduling, and control improvements
• Lead recurring service meetings with Facilities, Operations, BAS, and Energy teams
• Support BAS troubleshooting, analytics deployment, and building performance improvements
• Create data-driven reports and visualizations to communicate findings and energy impacts
• Collaborate with BAS vendors and controls contractors on maintenance and optimization initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC, Facilities Engineering, BAS, Building Performance, or Energy Analytics
• Experience with BAS platforms, HVAC controls, and building performance analytics
• Experience with Clockworks Analytics or similar FDD tools is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
