We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and engineering within regulated manufacturing environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Job Title:Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in supplier quality management and assessments.
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with ISO, UL, CSA, and related standards.
- Develop and manage quality assurance processes, including PPAP and FMEA.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality subsystems, such as CAPA, training, and documentation control.
- Proficiency in quality engineering and quality assurance principles.
- Experience with PPAP, root cause analysis, and supplier quality management.
- Familiarity with auditing and compliance within ISO, UL, or CSA standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality or reliability engineering role.
- Basic understanding of FMEA and risk management processes.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six‑sigma principles is advantageous.
- Willingness to pursue ASQ Certification is encouraged and supported.
The position involves working in a regulated manufacturing environment where adherence to industry standards is critical. The role may require occasional travel for supplier assessments and audits. The company supports professional development and encourages further certification in quality management.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $50.00/hr.
