: $50,000 - $80,000 per year

• Overall project responsibility
  • Verify the design meets performance and configuration specifications
  • Contract management to verify the project is completed on time and on budget
  • Customer management to understand expectations and standards
• Working on multiple CAD packages
• Creating detailed CAD models of manufactured components
• Creating detailed CAD models of purchase parts
• Reviewing CAD models for completeness, interferences, and manufacturability
• Developing detail drawings of purchased components and assemblies
• Developing detailed manufacturing drawings of piece parts, weldments, assemblies, and schematics
• Reviewing detail drawings for completeness, accuracy, and client standards
• Generating Bill of Materials
• Reviewing and updating model and drawing tolerances
• Project CAD layout
• Developing design concepts to perform project function reviews
• Reviewing Bill of Materials for completeness
• Specifying purchase components to be used
• Sourcing purchase components to be used
• Preparing CAD model for FEA analysis
• Preparing project review booklets
• Initiating and moderating project review meetings
• Developing and updating project timelines
• Reviewing project scope and ensuring alignment with contract and expectations
• Updating and tracking action/issue items
• Preparing Engineering Change Order proposals for submission to customers

• Ability to interact at a management level with Mfg Operations, Sales, Clients, and Quality
• Completed courses in trigonometry, mathematics, physics, machine shop, and drafting
• Computer Aided Drafting and Design AAS Degree
• Or any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
