As a Lead Engineering Technician II here at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical support and leadership to engineering teams within the aerospace sector. You will lead complex technical tasks, ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering outputs, and support the development and implementation of innovative aerospace solutions.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution of aerospace engineering projects by delivering precise technical expertise, improving processes, and contributing to Honeywell’s position as a leader in aerospace technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and coordinate technical activities supporting aerospace engineering projects to ensure quality and timely completion
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians to foster skill development and technical excellence
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement and validate aerospace technical solutions
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
6+ years of experience in aerospace technical support or related technical field
Strong expertise in aerospace systems, technical troubleshooting, and quality assurance
Proficiency with technical tools such as CAD software, measurement instruments, and data analysis platforms to support aerospace engineering tasks
Experience with aerospace industry standards and regulatory compliance
Advanced technical certifications or degrees in Aerospace Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related fields
Experience leading technical teams and managing complex aerospace technical projects
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive technical accuracy
Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and production teams
