Compensation: $115,000 – $140,000 Annual Salary

Klesk Metal Stamping is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Manufacturing Engineering Leader to lead our engineering function and drive operational excellence across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced manufacturing engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex production challenges. The Manufacturing Engineering Leader will partner closely with Production, Toolroom, EDM, Planning, Quality, and Sales/Estimating teams to improve throughput, reduce setup times, strengthen engineering systems, ensure successful new product launches, and build scalable processes that support future growth.
This role is instrumental in helping Klesk achieve its next phase of operational performance and business expansion.
- Drive Manufacturing Performance
- Improve manufacturing process flow, capability, and repeatability
- Increase throughput through engineering-driven productivity improvements
- Reduce setup times and eliminate operational waste
- Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives
- Implement process improvements that create measurable business value
- Lead New Product Introduction & Launch Activities
- Support manufacturability reviews during customer quoting activities
- Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings
- Coordinate successful transition from quote to production launch
- Improve launch readiness and production preparedness
- Support material selection and engineering feasibility reviews
- Support Production & Tooling Operations
- Partner with Production to solve manufacturing and process challenges
- Support Toolroom performance and tooling readiness
- Collaborate with EDM operations to improve responsiveness and execution
- Provide engineering support for existing and new production programs
- Identify and address technical constraints impacting performance
- Strengthen Engineering Systems & Technology
- Maintain engineering discipline within Syteline and related systems
- Improve engineering data integrity and operational accuracy
Support CAD, CAM, and Paperless Parts utilization - Streamline engineering workflows and responsiveness
- Support rapid engineering turnaround requirements, including quote response goals
- Champion Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Drive projects focused on waste reduction, scrap reduction, and process optimization
- Develop standard work and engineering best practices
- Support long-term operational scalability and growth
- Lead and Develop the Engineering Team
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering personnel
- Build accountability, collaboration, and responsiveness across the team
- Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Strengthen future engineering capabilities within the organization
