We’re partnering with a growing, multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm seeking a Director of Environmental Services to lead an established team and drive the next phase of growth. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll influence strategy, expand capabilities, and deliver impactful environmental solutions.
What You’ll DoLead & Grow the Practice
- Define and execute the strategic vision for Environmental Services
- Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of environmental professionals
- Expand service offerings through talent development, hiring, and partnerships
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across public and private sector clients
- Lead proposal development, scopes of work, and fee estimates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies
- Oversee environmental services supporting infrastructure, land development, and transportation projects
- Ensure quality, budget, and schedule performance across projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and project management teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field
- ~10+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or related sectors
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly
You bring broad environmental consulting experience
, with demonstrated depth in at least one (ideally more) of the following areas:
- Natural Resources
- Environmental Documentation (NEPA/MEPA or similar frameworks)
Thorough understanding of environmental regulatory programs at the federal, state, and local levels, including:
- Wetland Conservation regulations
- Public Waters permitting
Experience working with regulatory agencies, project owners, and contractors on active projects
Proven success in business development, including proposal preparation and winning work

- $140,000 – $170,000 base salary + performance incentives
