As an Engineering Support Specialist II at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in providing engineering support for various projects and initiatives in the Electronic Test business unit. You will support a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager and work out of our Minneapolis, MN location in a 100% onsite role, having a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations.
- Coordinate with facilities, IT, and trade to resolve issues impacting the larger team.
- Support engineering teams by ordering and tracking prototype materials.
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice follow‑ups for engineering labs.
- Organize/kitting of engineering parts for builds and support programs.
- Handle drawing redlines and revisions on development projects.
- Inspect engineering builds to ensure compliance with printed circuit board specifications.
- Provide daily support of engineering lab areas, ensuring safety and organization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and theory.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology or related technical field.
- Prior experience with SAP and procurement tools.
- Experience in a technical or engineering environment.
- Experience soldering and fabricating electrical assemblies.
- Experience with CAD tools.
- Strong attention to detail, follow‑through, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements, tools, and processes.
- Experience with quality management systems and processes.
- Experience with project and/or vendor coordination.
- Government and export compliance knowledge.
The annual base salary range for this position is $77,400 - $96,700. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.
