Seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Combat Mission Systems business. The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment
Responsibilities- Researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components.
- Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
- Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services.
- Perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
- Provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.
- Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge.
- Requires 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 2+ years with a Master’s degree.
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
- Experience developing technical documentation – such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis.
- Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
- Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
- Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice).
- Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW.
- Familiarity with computer programming languages, e.g. C, C#, Lab Windows/CVI.
- Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio, circuit board schematic & layout tools.
- Familiarity with design for components in a high EMI environment
• Systems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge.
