As a Consulting Associate, Scientist, Impact Assessment in Minneapolis, MN, you'll play a key role in delivering solutions that balance development with environmental stewardship. Your work will directly influence how major projects—like renewable energy, infrastructure, and resource development—are planned and executed.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural science, or related field. Or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience or professional internships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and travel as needed.
- Driver's License
Required:
This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. - A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and growth.

Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Familiarity with NEPA processes, permitting, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with ecological field surveys, data analysis, or risk assessment.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Assist Project Managers with NEPA environmental assessments (EA) and impact statements (EIS).
- Conduct data collection, literature reviews, and ecological field surveys.
- Prepare multi-media plans and permits in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support land use planning, facility siting, and water resource management tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
- Deliver work within quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
For the Consulting Associate, Scientist, Impact Assessment position, the anticipated annual base pay is $65,600 – $81,353 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
