Job Title

Successful candidate must possess the following qualifications/skills:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in the design of curtain wall assemblies and windows
• Knowledge and experience in the design of exterior cavity walls
• Project manager experience in charge of projects from design phase through construction phase including construction drawings and specification generation in either an architectural firm or engineering firm
• Ability to work with clients and other consulting staff to develop new architectural details and/or remedial details and specifications for roofing systems
• Well organized and good at keeping and maintaining both electronic and hardcopy files
• Ability to work outdoors doing field verification of existing conditions to develop construction documents. Field verification will require physical ability to perform activities such as climb stairs and ladders, carry and work with tools
• Ability to communicate and work both independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, and Bluebeam
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check(s) to obtain access to secure facilities

The following qualifications are considered a plus, but not required:

• Registration (or working toward registration) as a Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC) and/or a Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO) with IIBEC.
• Experience with Revit.

• Registered Architect.
• Curtain Wall Design.
• AutoCAD.
