HVAC Project Manager

We are seeking an HVAC Project Manager to join a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial mechanical construction.

This is not a traditional construction management role.

The ideal candidate will be involved in project management, estimating, client relationship management, design-build coordination, and business development. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys both the technical and business side of mechanical construction.

• Manage commercial and industrial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
• Participate in estimating, budgeting, and proposal development
• Coordinate design-build projects with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Manage project schedules, costs, procurement, and project execution
• Assist with business development efforts and help identify opportunities with existing clients
• Lead project meetings and maintain communication with all project stakeholders
• Support project forecasting, change order management, and financial performance
• Collaborate closely with company leadership on project strategy and customer satisfaction

$500,000 - $5,000,000

• Experience working for a mechanical contractor
• HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical construction background
• Project Management experience within commercial or industrial construction
• Estimating and preconstruction experience
• Client-facing experience and relationship management skills
• Design-build project experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Experience helping secure work, develop accounts, or support business development efforts is highly desirable
• $90,000 - $130,000 base salary depending on experience
• Strong backlog of commercial and industrial work
