Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Heavy Civil Structural team in our Oakdale or Minneapolis office. We are looking to add a Project Engineer, PE who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!
What You Will Be Doing:- Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction. Project may include municipal facilities, trenchless and tunneling, structural evaluations and rehabilitation projects.
- Perform field site evaluations and provide support during construction.
- Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
- Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports.
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members.
- May assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.).
- Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota.
- 4+ years’ progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure preferred.
- Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
- Knowledge of MnDOT requirements.
- Possess a valid driver’s license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.
