Associate Roadway Engineer

Job Description

Associate Roadway Engineer position located in Minneapolis office.

• Assist with the development of geometric design of highways and roads, including horizontal and vertical geometry, cross sections, super-elevations diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans. May perform material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and surveys.
• Use design software to implement project designs.
• Provide input and technical guidance to CAD designers/drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the same project.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Some related work experience and/or internships required.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.
• Basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate both written and orally with other engineers and clients.

Salary Range: $26.59 - $46.54
