What you'll do- Build part, assembly, and surface models in Solid Works, plus release-ready 2D drawings with GD&T
- Run Design for Manufacturability for injection molding — material selection, shrinkage, tooling concepts
- Partner with tooling, quality, and manufacturing through validation and launch
- Own the documentation trail: BOMs, revision control, ECR/ECN
- Injection molding know-how — ABS, PP, PC, Nylon, and the process behind them
- GD&T and tolerance analysis
- 2–8 years in plastic component design (consumer, automotive, medical, or industrial)
