Facilities Engineer II
Perform HVAC Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) using building analytics platforms.
Analyze HVAC performance data, trends, alarms, and operational behavior.
Identify faults, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
Develop recommendations for:
- Control sequence improvements
- Setpoint optimization
- Scheduling optimization
Lead recurring service meetings with Facilities, Operations, Energy, and Controls teams.
Create dashboards/visualizations to communicate findings and energy impacts.
Support analytics deployment, onboarding, and data-driven maintenance initiatives.
Must-have skills include:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2+ years in HVAC, Building Operations, Commissioning, Facilities Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Airside HVAC Systems
- Central Plant Systems
- Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
- HVAC Control Strategies & Sequences of Operation
- Experience analyzing HVAC performance data and troubleshooting operational issues.
- Ability to develop technical recommendations independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
