Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Designer with a background in building services and plant facilities design for military, higher education, institutional, utility plant, and industrial clients.
Technical Responsibilities- Design and layout of site and building power distribution with medium and low voltage systems, switch gear, panel boards, and motor control centers.
- Design of convenience power, grounding, lighting, and lightning protection systems in REVIT or AutoCAD.
- Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas as necessary.
- Manage design budget and schedule.
- Perform design duties under supervision.
- 3+ years of relevant design experience.
- Excellent experience with AutoCAD and REVIT; ability to set up electrical drawings and make mark‑ups from electrical engineers.
- Good understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Experience designing lighting systems (preferred).
- Experience designing power distribution and grounding systems (preferred).
- Experience designing communications and security systems (preferred).
- Understanding of developing engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to perform basic engineering design and project field site visits.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Design experience with AGi
32 Lighting Analyst or similar lighting analysis software (preferred). - Design experience with military bases, central plants, and campus infrastructure is a plus.
Hourly rate: $38.70 - $49.15 (Minneapolis, MN)
