Position: Senior Electrical Engineer (4 day work week!)

Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems and products, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to work a 4-day work week, promoting a healthy work-life balance while driving impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs into products.
  • Create detailed plans and specifications for electrical designs, including schematics and layouts.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Oversee the product development process from conception through production, ensuring all designs meet quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD and Solid Works for 3D modeling and design.
  • Implement automation solutions using PLC and HMI technologies.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
    Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on product design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works) and PCB design tools (PCBA, PCB).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and automation technologies.
  • Experience with sensors (pressure, temperature) and Bluetooth technology.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Infor, DBWorks) and PDM practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
