Role
Summary:
The Engineering Services Manager will provide management and expertise to a group of engineers involved in mechanical/electrical services, commissioning, and engineer-driven projects. The position will manage conceptual estimating, systems analysis, value engineering, scheduling, and marketing of commissioning and energy retrofit services.
- Lead the Engineering Services team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality plans.
- Manage mechanical/electrical conceptual estimating, systems analysis, and value engineering.
- Oversee scheduling input, sequencing, and updates throughout the project life cycle.
- Market and sell commissioning services and develop commissioning plans.
- Develop professional partnerships with energy services companies and market energy/infrastructure retrofits.
- Assess resource demands, allocate projects to divisions, and support diversity and inclusion culture.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and manage budgets and profitability.
- Apply Lean philosophy and construction technology to improve processes.
- Build relationships with team members and external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and JE Dunn construction M/E tools and software.
- Ability to apply construction management fundamentals and project processes.
- Experience with budgets, GMP, hard bids, and financial management.
- Capability to prepare range estimates and assist marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field (Required).
- Master's degree in engineering or business management (Preferred).
- 10+ years construction management experience (Required).
- 2+ years people management experience (Required).
- 2+ years financial management experience (Required).
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
Benefits & CompensationBase compensation in Minneapolis ranges from $172,747 to $215,934, depending on experience, with potential for higher pay. The role is eligible for a target bonus based on individual and company performance.
