The Opportunity:

Join a leading organization in the Water, Waste, Steam, and Air Conditioning Services sector, dedicated to sustainable water management and efficient service delivery. This role offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge piping BIM projects, leveraging Plant3D and Navisworks to drive design excellence and on‑site collaboration in a dynamic, environmentally focused environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed 3D piping and support models based on P&.
  • Perform collision detection, resolve interferences, and coordinate with on‑site teams.
  • Manage model data, specifications, and custom catalogs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate accurate BOM/MTO reports, track spool and welding status, and support procurement.
  • Create progress visualization dashboards using Excel or PowerBI to monitor design, fabrication, and installation milestones.
Must-Have

Skills:
  • Expert proficiency with Autodesk Plant3D for 3D piping design and 2D drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of P&, piping specifications, and standard codes.
  • Experience conducting interference checks and clash resolution using Navisworks Manage/Simulate.
  • Ability to generate and manage BOM/MTO from 3D models, including material take‑offs.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years delivering piping design in construction or industrial projects.
  • Solid understanding of welding definitions, spool creation, and progress tracking.
Nice-to-Have

Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Hands‑on experience in the construction industry, particularly microelectronics/semiconductor facilities.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI or similar tools for data visualization.
  • Basic conversational Japanese language skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities with cross‑functional stakeholders.
