Job DescriptionLeading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Civil Project Engineer to their Minneapolis team! Responsibilities:
Complete site engineering tasks Ensure the successful completion of the design of site layout and grading plans, utility design, erosion control plans, and stormwater management plans Prepare detailed design/documentation of project solutions that align with client needs, project schedules, and budget requirements Complete a variety of civil engineering design tasks including:
Roadway and parking layout Pavement design Site grading Stormwater management design and reporting Site utility and building service design. Perform engineering calculations as required for civil design for the following:
Obtain earthwork volumes Stormwater design Utility pipe sizing Pavement design Prepare required documentation to obtain site plan approvals and permits Edit/refine site work specification sections to meet project requirements Provide construction phase support for the following: o Site visits o Respond to bidders o Review submittals o Addressing change orders o Prepare punch lists Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program 5 + years of experience in site improvements design for complex and high-profile projects PE License preferred Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM/MIDS, and Microsoft Office Suite Solid understanding of civil engineering principles Salary is commensurate with experience.
