CAD Application Administrator
We are looking for a CAD Application Administrator to support and manage CAD application upgrades and related technical activities in an onsite environment. The candidate will be responsible for administering, upgrading, configuring, and supporting various CAD engineering applications used across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support CAD application upgrades, installations, configurations, and migrations.
- Provide administration and technical support for multiple CAD applications.
- Work with applications such as AutoCAD, Creo, Windchill, and other engineering/CAD tools.
- Coordinate CAD application upgrades with infrastructure, engineering, and business teams.
- Troubleshoot application issues, installation problems, integrations, and user access issues.
- Support application testing and validation during upgrades and releases.
- Maintain application configurations, environments, documentation, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure CAD applications remain stable and available.
- Provide onsite support to end users and resolve CAD-related technical issues.
- Assist with identifying application dependencies and minimizing disruption during upgrades.
Required Skills:
- Experience as a CAD Application Administrator / CAD Systems Administrator / Engineering Application Administrator.
- Strong experience with CAD application upgrades and administration.
- Hands-on experience with Creo, Windchill, AutoCAD, or similar CAD/PLM applications.
- Understanding of CAD application environments, configurations, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with engineering/manufacturing applications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
Preferred:
- Experience with PTC Creo, Windchill/PLM, AutoCAD, CAD integrations, application deployment, and enterprise CAD environments.
