The Water Business Group delivers safe drinking water, treats wastewater responsibly and develops sustainable water supplies, supporting public health, environmental sustainability and infrastructure resilience.
Responsibilities- Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations and design activities with significant impact on major company programs.
- Participate in marketing efforts with internal and external clients.
- Organize, conduct, coordinate, and manage geotechnical investigations for water and related projects.
- Perform geotechnical analyses, prepare reports, and coordinate with designers to implement recommendations.
- Act as a Technical Specialist on large‑scale projects as needed.
- Supervise professionals, technicians, and design teams as needed.
- Demonstrate willingness to travel and occasionally adjust personal schedule to meet project requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Micro Station or other relevant software.
- Experience with Geo Studio/Ensoft slope stability, settlement, seepage and deep foundation response software.
- Experience with Bentley suite of geotechnical data management and visualization software (gINT/Open Ground/Leap Frog).

Estimated compensation based on skills, experience, education and geographic location:
Minnesota – $80,262 to $114,660.
