Sr Process Engineer
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of relevant manufacturing/process/advanced manufacturing engineering experience, or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
- Medical device or other highly regulated industry experience preferred/strongly desired.
- Hands-on experience with laser welding, resistance welding, micro-welding/micro-joining, battery/capacitor manufacturing, or similar thermal joining processes.
- Strong process development, process improvement, validation, and problem-solving experience.
- Experience with DOE, statistical analysis, process capability, and preferably Minitab.
- Experience with DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone, or similar problem-solving methods.
- Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing/Operations, Quality, R&D/Design Engineering, and suppliers.
- Understanding of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, or other regulated quality systems.
